In the present competitive and challenging environment, industries are required to strive hard to achieve their goals and growth by ensuring & maintaining safe working environment thus preventing accidents and occupational diseases. Accidents may be due to machinery hazards, fire hazards, unsafe handling of materials, trips, fall from heights, welding, electrical works, poorly maintained pieces of machinery, poor ergonomical postures etc…
In view of the foregoing, KIOT, under Department of Mechanical Engineering, M.E – Industrial Safety Engineering has come up with a one-day training programme on “Occupational Health & Safety with Basic Life Support” which make awareness as well as for managing OH & S in an effective manner.
